This has been kicking around in my Head for a while. So I finally wrote it down.

Fat is not a dirty word

Fat does not mean my voice should not be heard

Fat does not make me right or wrong

Fat does not change who I am

Fat does not mean lazy, ignorant or not got a clue

Fat does not mean a danger to you

Fat does not mean pay out on

Fat does not mean open to pry, lecture, hurt, and make cry

Fat does not mean bully me

Fat does not mean anything

But the size of my body, not the size of my heart

It does not mean slow, dim witted or easy target

It does not mean worthless, useless or invaluable

It does not mean you have the right to comment, use abuse or otherwise mistreat

We live in a society where fat is bad

Have you ever noticed that skinny is a rather long lasting fad?

Life is too short to judge someone on size

Isn’t it time you opened your eyes

Stop finding excuses not to have fat friends

Stop listening to the lies the media presents

Stop trying to tell others how to live their lives

Just stop

Get to know someone for who they are.

Fat, thin or in-between

We are all simply

About heavenlyimaginings

A crafter from the time I was a small child. My love of crafting has developed into a passion for making Artist Original Bears, Scrapbooking, making fascinators and hair accessories, as well as dabbling in other bits and pieces such as making the occasional small bag. I craft on a budget. Try and reuse and recycle where I can (I wish I lived closer to a big reverse cycle garbage type place). In truth I play when I craft. It is such an adventure. Often do not spend time looking for tutorials and tips online preffering to meander though in my own way. After all if you do not know the rules then you have no problems breaking all of them. Have to be honest and say I truly love being pushed out of my creative comfort zone, as it is in those moments that you have to stretch yourself and your imagination that often you create the most amazing works of art. Also passionate about Spirituality. I discovered my psychic gifts at age 19 and have walked along the spiritual path for 19 years now.

Our body types do not define us for the person that we are.
